At Washington Vegetable Co., offering high quality products is a fundamental part of our business and we hold ourselves accountable for continuously staying up to date on food safety regulations and ensuring a clean and safe warehouse. Under our third party food safety certification program we are working with one of the most qualified national food safety inspection and certification organizations to develop an operational and infrastructure plan that ensures our product is held and distributed appropriately. This program includes third party reviews and inspections, as well as an annual recertification requirement.

We are food saftey certified through CERES Certification International(CCI), a food safety auditor specializing in the produce industry. We conduct GFSI level audits with them yearly in order to maintain our high food safety standards.

Washington Vegetable is organic certified through CCOF, a California based, internationally recognized organic certification body. Our work with them dating back over ten years has kept us up to date with the latest organic requirements, most notably the USDA Strengthening Organic Enforcement guideline, put into action in 2023.
